Terms of Service

By commissioning me, you agree to the following terms.

For personal commissions, I reserve all copyright for the art delivered. Which means I can post or use the piece to promote myself as needed.
Clients may only use the finished piece as far as the commercial license they purchased allows. They may not make merch out of any art tier 3 or below, nor use personal commissions for any purpose that generates income. Clients may repost the finished art if they wish, but credit must be given unless full copyright has been purchased.
Only the digital copy of the artwork will be delivered.
My art cannot be used for NFTs or AI training in any manner.

Service Information

WIPs will be sent automatically during both the sketch and base color stages for softshade commissions, or base color stage for colored sketch pieces, clients must confirm at each step in order for me to proceed.
Clients may request WIPs and updates at any time.
Refunds are allowed, but the amount depends on what stage the artwork is at. I will only refund the amount minus PayPal fees because I can only give back what I received.

Refund rates are as follows...

100%: Not started
70%: Sketch completed
50%: Lineart completed
40%: Base colour completed
0/20%: shading completed/missing background

I reserve the right to decline commissions of any characters I am not comfortable drawing.
The time of completion can vary depending on my workload and the complexity of the commission. Estimated time can range from 3 weeks to several months. Commercial commissions will have priority over personal commissions.
Clients will receive an unwatermarked, full-resolution version of their commission as well as a resized version with a watermark upon completion.
Once a price has been decided, there will be no haggling. Any attempt will result in a ban.
Extra fees can apply depending on the detail of the character/background, feel free to show me refs beforehand so I can determine the exact increase.
Refs must be clear and not in B/W, I will not draw a full-body of a character in which only a headshot had been provided. Unless it is a custom design commission.
After the art has been completed, clients may request minor color changes and mistake corrections. Larger changes may incur an extra fee.
After I accept your form and give you the price quote, you have 48 hours to reply or your slot will be voided. You may request more time (up to a week) if you state so beforehand.
Payment must be received before any work is started, and it must be made within 48 hours after the invoice is sent. Payment plans are available for commissions $100 and up. At least 25% of the payment must be made upfront, the rest within a month. No work will be started until I obtain the full payment.
Character change is allowed, but it must be done before any work is started. The new character must not be more complex or additional design fees will be applied. Refunds will not be given for switching to a less complex character.
Clients may set deadlines only with commercial commissions, a minimum of 1 month is required provided good communication.
The commercial license provided only applies to small businesses or individual creators. Large businesses must contact me for a quote.

Custom Design Information

Copyright licenses for the completed design are automatically given by default. Clients may use the design for any project they wish. However, the art itself is for personal use only at CC tier 1. Clients may purchase full rights for the art as well with CC tier 2.
During the process, a colored sketch WIP will be provided. The client may request any revisions as needed. After the art is completed, only minor color changes are allowed without an additional fee.
Rejected designs and revisions are not allowed to be used for personal or commercial purposes by the client unless extra fees are paid.
If a refund is provided after work has started, I reserve the right to sell the design separately.
